WHERE OH WHERE?
What are we building?
Children will develop careful listening skills as they sing this song by removing their colourful scarf as everyone shouts BOO! together. As the children use both their singing voice and then speaking voice to shout BOO, contrasting dynamics are explored.
You could hide other items, such as toy animals, beneath the lycra. When they are revealed, children could make the sound of the animal hidden beneath. Children could sing the song throughout the day when gathering resources for different activities, e.g. Where oh where are all the pencils?
