Benedetti
Foundation

Workshops, teacher CPD &
Performance
Days 1-3 the Benedetti team visit 9 primary schools, delivering Key Stage 2 workshops. Pupils will take part in body percussion, singing, rhythmic games, teamwork and creative music-making.
Day 4 will be a full-day programme of CPD for teachers. The Residency culminates on day 5 with a highlight event: a Mass Strings Day with almost 100 young violinists already registered

SNAPPY Music

Free "Big Sing" concerts at
least 3 times per year!
Every term, thousands of children from dozens of schools come together to take part in our SNAPPY mass singing events, performing to delighted audiences of parents and carers. These events get bigger and more vibrant each year, with SNAPPY Christmas remaining the most loved and eagerly anticipated, followed jointly by our SNAPPY Spring (KS1 focus) and SNAPPY Summer (KS2 focus)

Shine Festival

School & Community choirs
The Shine Choirs Festival event is open to all singing groups from across the North East. A wide variety of singing groups, of all genres and abilities, take part.
Day 1 is for Community Choirs. Day 2 is for School Choirs. It provides an open stage and feedback for singing groups across the North East

SING!

An opportunity for pupils in
Year 5-8 to take part in high-
quality singing workshops
with leaders at the National Youth Choir!
The SING! team will visit multiple schools over 3 days, will provide a CPD offer for teachers, followed by 2 full days of open access workshops where young singers will learn exciting new songs, make new friends and develop their musical skill.
At the final session, there will be an opportunity to audition for National Youth Choir’s residential courses for 9-15 year olds

This exciting journey will see our talented young musicians perform in some of Northern Italy’s most inspiring cultural settings, sharing their passion for music with international audiences.
Alongside unforgettable concert experiences, the tour will give our players the chance to explore Verona’s rich heritage, enjoy the stunning landscapes of Lake Garda, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
